**Acanthus mollis ‘Tasmanian Angel’ TM...(Variegated Bear’s Breeches) The first variegated Acanthus! This gem found in Tasmania, offers striking, bold leaves with white margins and mottling. It forms a large clump with 3-4” tall ornamental flower stalks of pink & cream in late summer. A.mollis is tolerant of most soils but thrives in deep, fertile, moist, and well-drained soil. 36” tall Zones 7-10
**Acer palmatum Bloodgood...Dark, black-red leaves hold color throughout most of summer and turn a spectacular fiery red in fall. By far the most popular red leaf variety... Ht. 4m. Zone 5.
**Acer palmatum `Butterfly'...Small deeply lobed leaves are attractive bluish green with rose and creamy-white margins in spring. In summer, the pink tones are reduced but the white remains. The rosy pink margins return in fall and intensify to brilliant crimson to leaf fall. This is a good eye catcher for the small garden. Ht. 2-3m. Zone 5.
**Ajuga, ‘Black Scallop’…NOT INVASIVE, polite groundcover, shiny black leaves in sun or shade.
Alchemilla erythropoda… Fuzzy leaves catch the tiny dew droplets that glimmer in the morning sun.

The heart shaped leaves have a silver overlay and prominent green-veining. **Campanula ‘Pink Octopus’ PPAF PVR...Japanese lantern buds open to striking pink octopus like blossoms. Over 50 blooms flutter down from nicely upright flowering branches above strong, deeply cut foliage. Unique/interesting! Long bloom time and easy to grow. Tolerant of most soils. 18” Zones 5-9
≈Corydalis ‘Blue Heron’-Collected in Sichuan, China by Dan Hinkley. Our largest darkest blooming Corydalis. Fragrant, dark Gentian-blue flowers atop stunning red stems are enhanced by blue-green foliage. This new form bloomed all spring and summer for us. Will go summer dormant if it is kept too dry or hot. We’re growing our Corydalis in more sun (up to a half day) and it’s thriving. 8” Zones 5-8

**Helleborus ‘Kingston Cardinal’- Our most stunning hybrid yet. Resulting from Dan Hinkley’s breeding program, these unusually clean, raspberry mauve flowers are fully double, creating nodd-ing heads of mum-like fullness atop 2 foot stems. Lift a bloom to see deep into the center. Deep crimson buds add a striking effect. Ours are 1/3 to ½ the price of the “big” nurseries!

**Hosta, ‘Sweet Innocence’…Tetraploid form of Fragrant Bouquet. Large, broadly ovate, light apple green leaves are of good substance and have much wider creamy white margins that don’t burn. Large, fragrant, near-white flowers in late summer. Medium 15-22” tall Zones 3-9
**Hydrangea ‘Penny Mac’...Blooms continuously until frost! Breakthrough simplifies pruning, prune whenever the spirit moves, cutting armloads of blossoms to fill your home with blue (in acid soil) or pink (in alkaline) flowers. Morning Sun. Moist, well-drained humusy soil.

**Butterfly Lavender’ Impatiens, Incredible fully-trailing Impatiens will fill morning sun hanging baskets with abundant color from spring to fall. Try them in combination with new Torenia, bold tuberous begonias or fragrant white Heliotrope! Remember they are tender perennials, and could be wintered in a warm greenhouse! I know I will try it!

Incarvillea delavayi... Hardy Gloxinia is hardy to Zone 5! Tropical looking beauty in pink or white. Large trumpet shaped flowers bloom in May to July. Plant in sun to part shade gardens with well drained soil or in containers. 12-18” tall
Liriope, muscari ‘Silvery Sunproof’...(Lily turf) Relatively wide, grass-like leaves are striped green and white. Clump-former. Produces lilac purple flowers similar to grape hyacinths. Drought tolerant. Protect from winter winds. 10-15“ tall Zones 5-10

**Mukdenia rossii ‘Crimson Fans’...Very hardy, deciduous Heuchera relative from China. This form has large maple-like leaves, which emerge green then age (after flowering) to mid-green splashed with bright red. Foliage remains red all summer. Numerous white, bell-shaped flowers are held in branched panicles for a several weeks from February to April. Likes even moisture and part shade. 15” Zones 4-9
